Two philosophies, one pond—because there’s more than one way to find your Zen.
Buddhi just wanted to drink coffee and write his book.
But when you live by a pond with two highly opinionated philosophers—one a shimmering dragonfly sharing his wisdom, the other a very opinionated and slightly grumpy frog—nothing is ever that simple.
Miles, the ever-gliding dragonfly, believes in movement, transformation, and going wherever the wind takes him. Harold, the rock-sitting, world-observing frog, believes in patience, stillness, and the occasional well-timed leap.
Both of them are absolutely certain their way is the right way. Both insist Buddhi should be taking notes. Both want to write their own book to share their philosophies.
As Buddhi tries (and fails) to focus on his own work, he finds himself caught in the middle of a hilarious, deeply philosophical, and occasionally exasperating battle between two very different perspectives on life.
Will they ever agree on anything? Will Buddhi ever get a moment of peace? Will Miles concede that rock sitting might have its moments? Will Harold finally accept that shimmering might have some value? (Spoiler: Probably not.)
POND-SIDE PHILOSOPHIES: DRAGONFLY WISDOM AND FROG ZEN is a lighthearted, thoughtful, and occasionally chaotic exploration of life, mindfulness, and the timeless battle between stillness and movement, contemplation and change, frogs and dragonflies.
And, yes, coffee will be spilled.
