Reflections ~ 2024

2024 was an interesting year. I had a major, life-changing event that totally threw me for a loop, and for a long time, I didn't write anything. But then, eventually, my words started calling to me again, and found their way to the pages.

I published two books, MEDITATING BY COFFEE: ZEN MORNING MEDITATIONS and FINDING FOREVER: SOULMATES REUNITED. I also updated the covers on my Echoes of Spirit series and my Writer's Workshop series.

Thought I'd offer you a look at what I plan to publish in 2025. I have sooo many ideas floating around in my mind, and I wish I could write them all, but these things take time. My plans (and they're always subject to change) are to update some of my older books, and to bring some out-of-print books back into being. I'm planning to publish two, maybe three, new books. And there's a novel or two lurking somewhere in my mind.

Looking back at 2024...

MEDITATING BY COFFEE offers a peaceful way to start your day. It invites you on a serene journey, where simply enjoying your morning coffee is transformed into moments of tranquility and reflection.

Each meditation is like a gentle whisper, encouraging you to embrace the quiet tranquility of dawn with your coffee cup in hand. These meditations are your early-morning companions, guiding you to a place of calm contemplation, awakening your inner self, and creating the light of positivity for the day ahead.

FINDING FOREVER: SOULMATES REUNITED is a story about soulmates, second chances, and a little dog whose devotion transcends lifetimes. Paige has dreams about a man she's never met whose eyes seem to look into her soul. Tom is also having dreams about a woman he's never met, but feels he's known forever.

When Paige rescues a sweet little Chihuahua named Riley, something magical begins to happen. Their paths are destined to cross, but it seems that fate is throwing obstacles in their way. It's up to Riley to bring these two souls together.

Looking forward to 2025...

I'm currently in the process of updating MAGICAL MIND GARDENS, which offers 365 magical thoughts that invite you to grow your life into a beautiful garden of harmony and light. I'm expanding the magical thoughts to include more detail. This book is going to be a whopper at 400+ pages. I hope to have it finished sometime in February.

I'm also updating MAGICAL MIND, MAGICAL LIFE to include more material. These are the first two books in the Echoes of Mind series.

REALITY IS AN ILLUSION: WANT TO PLAY A MAGICAL GAME is the third book in the Echoes of Mind series and will be published on June 29th. It's up for preorder at Amazon... $4.99.

You create your reality from the inside out through your thoughts, feelings, and actions. What you experience in your life is a reflection of what you see and feel in your mind, and in your imagination, before it becomes real in your life. That’s the reality of illusion.

Invites you to explore the magic of your mind and create a masterpiece of happiness, light, and joy. Everything you need is already within you—waiting to make your reality everything you’ve always wanted it to be and more.

I'll be bringing out a revised edition of SPIRIT TO SELF: LITTLE REMINDERS OF WHO YOU TRULY ARE... A POWERFUL SPIRITUAL BEING OF LIGHT with a new cover. I'm thinking September or October.

This beautiful book reminds you of the true nature of your spiritof the love, light, joy, and harmony that is your spiritual birthright. Think of this book as pages from the spiritual owner's manual you forgot to bring with you when you decided to have a physical experience.

I also plan to have a freebie book to promote the new edition. Something about gifts from your spirit...

And speaking of the owner's manual, I'm also planning to write and publish this book. It offers a roadmap of how to maneuver through physical energies while remaining true to your spiritual nature.

Earth is the great testing ground of all our ideas, hopes, dreams, agreements, and commitments we made before birth. It’s a school where we put into practice all that we learned—or think we learned—on the spiritual plane. It's about 1/4 done at the moment. Pub date will probably be November.

I've got several novels in various stages of writing that may or may not be completed and published next year. But the characters are calling to me, begging me to write their stories. So how can I refuse? We'll see what happens... :)

Before Forever

Excerpt ~ Finding Forever

CHAPTER ONE ~ THE COSMIC COFFEE HOUSE

The faint chime of a bell above the door whispered her arrival. Paige stepped into the Cosmic Coffee House—somewhere in the Universe—a place that seemed to exist outside the boundaries of time and space, somewhere both everywhere and nowhere. Her feet sank into the plush carpet, each step muffled as if the air itself cushioned her movements. It felt as though she were walking on clouds.

The scent of freshly brewed coffee hung in the air, warm and rich, enveloping her like a comforting embrace. The barista smiled warmly as Paige approached the counter, sliding a steaming cup of coffee toward her.

She blinked in surprise, wrapping her fingers around the warm cup. Strange, she thought. She didn’t remember ordering anything.

Nothing here felt quite real. The place had a soft, dreamlike quality, as if it was a memory hovering just out of reach. The place felt both familiar and unfamiliar, as though she’d been here a thousand times, yet this was the first time she’d walked through the door.

She caught her reflection in the glass of the window—it was blurry, like trying to see her face in a pool of rippling water.

She scanned the room, her gaze sweeping over the softly glowing space. Tables and chairs were organized neatly across the coffee house, some occupied by figures in quiet conversation, their voices blending into a gentle hum that hovered just beyond comprehension. The sound wasn’t words so much as a melody—an almost-memory she couldn’t quite place.

A woman with silver-gray hair sat by the window, a golden glow surrounding her. The light was softly shimmering, like sunlight breaking through morning mist. The woman looked over and smiled radiantly, nodding in greeting.

Paige felt a loving warmth wrap itself around her as she returned the smile, though she didn’t know why. There was something familiar about her, something that whispered of peacefulness. She felt the pull of a memory just out of reach, an echo she couldn’t quite place.

She felt a sense of anticipation, as if she was waiting for someone—someone important—but couldn’t remember who. The details were hazy, just beyond her grasp. A tug at her heart told her she was here for a reason, though she couldn’t recall what it was.

The bell above the door chimed again, its sound as light as a breeze stirring wind chimes. Paige turned instinctively.

The door opened—and time seemed to stop.

A man entered, blueprints tucked under his arm, his presence like a ripple through the dreamlike atmosphere. His eyes met hers, and something deep inside her clicked into place.

Recognition. Not the kind that happens when a stranger looks vaguely familiar. No, this was deeper, like she’d known him forever.

His eyes were kind, filled with warmth and an unspoken understanding, as if they held stories only she could know. She felt there was something special shared between them—something timeless.

Her breath caught in her throat, her heart pounding in her ears as his eyes held hers. She knew him. In that moment, the rest of the coffee house seemed to melt away, the background blurring until there was only him. Only them.

She felt a pull, a magnetic force, drawing her closer. She wanted to speak, to say something, but words failed her. The light around him seemed to shimmer, like sunlight on water, and just like that, he was gone.

Paige felt a deep ache blooming in her chest. Wait, she wanted to call out. Please wait. But the moment was gone, slipping through her fingers like water.

“I’ll find you,” she whispered, the words a quiet promise she didn’t fully understand, yet knew she had to keep.

In the background, a dog barked, pulling her attention away for just a second. She turned, searching for the source, but there was no dog in sight, only the fading echo of the sound.

The scene began to blur, like a watercolor painting left out in the rain, the colors running together and fading, the edges softening until it was hard to tell where the coffee shop ended and the dream began.

Origins ~ Finding Forever

Since I've written several books on reincarnation, and talked about soulmates and how to bring them into your life, I thought it would be fun to write a novel about soulmates finding each other again.

Sometimes, finding the other half of your soul is a delicate dance of destiny. Timing is everything. In FINDING FOREVER, two soulmatesPaige and Tomkeep missing each other by minutes. They're aware of each other, through dreams, but can't quite seem to connect on a physical level.

And then there's Rileya dog who has reincarnated to be with the two souls she dearly loves. She finds Paige, but has a bit of a problem getting Tom to pay attention. He keeps hearing a dog barking in his dreams, and in his waking life, but wonders who the dog is. Riley's mission, this time around, is to bring these two soulmates together.

I loved writing Riley's character. She's a little Chihuahua who was a Golden Retriever before and she's having a hard time adjusting to being in a small dog body. She sometimes has a snarky attitude, and her comments in the story are indicative of how (I think) a dog would think and react to what's going on around her.

There's also Allie, a guardian angel, who is in cahoots with Riley to bring these two souls together. Even though she's not in physical form, she has a habit of appearing when Paige and Tom need help.

This reincarnation romance offers a magical look at how our souls transcend time to be with the ones we love in every lifetime.

Finding Forever ~ Soulmates Reunited

What if the love of your life slipped through your fingers... again and again?

Paige's life is at a crossroads. Stuck in a soul-draining job and nursing a broken heart, the last thing she expects is to find hope in the form of a stray dog. But when she rescues a sweet little Chihuahua named Riley, something magical begins to happen.

When dreams about a man she’s never met—but feels she’s known forever—start weaving into her waking life, she begins to wonder if they’re more than just dreams. Drawn to a charming café with an otherworldly feel, Paige discovers that some connections transcend time and space.

Tom has always felt there was someone missing from his life. His dreams of a woman with eyes that seem to hold his very soul have him searching for answers. But as his life takes unexpected turns, he begins to wonder if the universe has other plans.

With the help of Riley, who might be a guardian angel in disguise, Paige and Tom’s paths are destined to cross. But fate has a habit of throwing obstacles in the way, and time is running out for these two souls to reunite.

Will Paige and Tom find each other in this lifetime, or will their love remain lost in the echoes of past lives?

Perfect for fans of heartfelt love stories with a touch of magic, Finding Forever is a tale of soulmates, second chances, and a little dog whose devotion transcends lifetimes.

A New Adventure

I'd like to introduce you to Riley, my new furry sidekick in the metaphysical mystery novels I'm going to be writing.

A few months ago, a brilliant idea for a story grabbed me and wouldn't let go. Then life got in the way and the project was sidetracked. Which turned out to be a good thing, because the story took a vastly different turn.

It was originally going to be a cozy mystery, but then a lost civilization, filled with ancient wisdom, collided with future technology, and somehow found its way into the story.

But that all changed. Just a week ago, Riley decided that she was a doggy angel. More details later...
