Plotters & Problems

Jaedyn’s stories are unraveling faster than she can weave them back together. Rowan, with his plotter energy, offers to “help” get her story-verse in order. Against her better judgement, she lets him borrow her quill to organize one story—one tiny adventure—just to see what happens. Instead of arriving on a remote island on an archeological quest, they end up stranded in a hot, dusty desert.

Maris arrives with Dewey, her plotter Pomeranian, to try to untangle the story threads. Riley falls head over paws in puppy love. Rowan’s long-lost love interest, Karina, steps onto the page and offers to help write the story.

When two new dragons are summoned, the portal malfunctions, bringing in an evil sorceress searching for the Codex—a powerful reality-warping artifact—and Alaric, its protector. But Diedre discovers she’s in the wrong story-verse.

If that wasn’t bad enough, the Narrative Correction and Oversight Brigade (possibly aliens, definitely cranky)—summoned by the Department of Narrative Police—arrives, claiming her story violates at least seventeen laws of narrative cohesion.

Midgi has decided to write a book about runes and portals. He’s calling it the Multiverse of Maybe. Jaedyn must decide if she’s the one holding the quill—or if the story has a mind of its own

Dreams & Doorways

Jaedyn just wanted a nap after all the portal chaos. But in the In-Between, even naps come with plot twists. Golden orbs drift mysteriously through her cottage, Midgi is practicing fire-breathing skills in the garden with Zephyr, and Rowan has declared himself fire marshal.

To make matters worse, Typo has slipped through a portal and is gleefully scribbling chaos across her manuscripts. Plot bunnies multiply faster than she can chase them down.

As if that weren’t enough, Markus appears, brandishing the Ink Weaver’s Quill, determined to prove his quill is better than hers. Karina is still trying to take notes, but is hopelessly lost in the narrative. Maris returns to her Library of Infinite Threads to make sure the stories are in their proper places.

Harold’s back… and he’s still grumpy. Allie and her angel dog stop by to say hi. Clippy starts singing oldies songs from the laptop.

As Jaedyn’s dreams merge into waking life, the lines between stories and reality blur even further. Midgi wonders if Jaedyn is dreaming all this, or if it’s really happening.
